A GOOD LEADER

A good leader: leadership can help transform an organization as people begin to connect, leveraging the best leader and expertise to improve work processes and deliverables. On the 23 of February, 2012, we had a diccusion in oyr class activities with a very good lecturer name by Rudolf, and my class discussed what Leadership means, or what come to your mind when you hear the word leader.

According to my fellow learners, i rather uses the word students, a good leader challenges you to do your best, a good leader sets a good example, a good leader explain the reasons for instrutions and procedures, sets a good objective about things, a good leader is emphthetic and understanding, a good leader is courageous, a good leader is optimistic, and a good leader wants to make the organisationthe best in the industry.

In many ways, good leader(GL) thinking is a mindset. The GL mind questions the value of everything, and challenges us to upend the status quo and discover innovative solutions. one of the ways i sharpen my own GL mindset is through discussion and collaboration with other GL professionals. early today in my dad office we discussed how i would run things (from a GL mindset) “if i were the leader.” i would look to the leaders in the world of public relations, and the real value lies in relationships.

If I were the boss

The horrible bosses
What a question, to be honest if I were the boss of a company
If I were the boss, what will I do? Well my work will start on Tuesday
what do u think? If I were the boss
I will Hang out with the girls
And be hard on the guys
If I were the boss
I'll come up with a plan
Make everyone do all the work and
Take the credit and look like the man
If I were the boss
My lunch break would be 2days
And if I was a girl I wil make them all call me Ma'am
If you thought I would be nice
Then you thought is wrong
But am not the boss neither do I look like the horrible bosses.

Our bodies

Our bodies are perfect Part of getting to know ourselves, is understanding that our bodies and proportions are just the way they are meant to be. If we accept that each of us is born with a specific purpose, it follows that we are equipped with the appropriate body, talents and attributes to enable us to fulfil that assignment. For this reason it is pointless to compare ourselves to others or too long for what we don't have. We are perfect just as we are, despite what we may think!

Two people walking out of a building, and walk into a story

The story of Jessica and Zama!

Jessica: Hey! Am Jessica and you are?

Zama: Am Zama, but you can call me Zanzibar.

Jessica: Hey Zanzibar I like your dressing though.

Zama: Oh! Thanks, and yeah my dress code is formulated by the organisation to ensure that their brand is consistently represented. For example, an organisation operating in the financial services or legal arena has a certain message to be relayed. They look for people to support that message of professionalism, order, trust, subtlety, formality etc. In the IT and advertising worlds there is more scope for playfulness, innovation, creativity and so on.
Jessica: Where do you work?

Zama: I worked in a very young team of men and women and too many times my clothing decisions were made on who would be there and how they would respond to me rather than what would add value to my team. I was not always like this. When I first started working, I remember the kind of outfits I would wear to the office. My organisation did not have a strict dress code, though I remember many eyebrows raised at some of my choices. I had a particularly short, black pinafore dress that I would wear with a checked bodysuit and matching checked stockings, finished off with a pair of ankle boots.

Zama: I know you're thinking - "what was she thinking?"

Jessica: No am not thinking –

Zama: Well I thought I looked fabulous, in retrospect though the message was clear. I wanted people to think I was funky, edgy, quirky and sexy.

WOMEN NEED TO CREATE THEIR OWN WEALTH

The 21st century is all about being successful an independent. Most women are tired on relying only on their men to bring home income, to manage their finances and to also invest for the future. As a woman you need to create enough money to live comfortably. By understanding on how wealth is created.

Some women still use men as financial plans for their future. Some of those women are the sophisticated, young and beautiful Khanyi Mbau, whom had first married a man old enough to be her father all because the man his rich. She knew that he was married at first but she managed to snatch and married him for financial purpose. Her relationship with him did not last due to the fact the foundation of the marriage was based on money. She had all the expensive clothes, jewelers and classy cars but it meant nothing-the money was the only thing that mattered to her.

Gone are the days of relying on a man for financial future after all, it’s far too important to leave to anyone else. No matter what your age, if you’ re in a relationship or single and whether or not you already have some savings, you can take control of your finances, as we all know that it’s not easy to achieve riches and financial freedom, it does require some sacrifices. In fact, it is likely to take years if not decades of effort that some time in the future you will have enough money to live life on your terms and be reliant on no one else for financial assistances.

We all know that investment is not about rolling a dice or going to the casino or betting on the horses. Some investors do well and others do not but are not all out of luck. Investing is all about putting your money into things that have high chance of doing well for you in a short to medium term and a better chance of giving you good returns in the long term, you need to become an expert in order to be successful investor. You do not need an advanced degree in jargon and gobbledygook in order to make sound investments. But you do need to understand and follow the basic principles.

How hard is it to follow instruction?

Following instructions. I think some of us make things seem harder than they actually are. Some people find that following instructions can be extremely hard or they don’t follow instructions at all.
Honestly, following instruction is actually very difficult indeed, irrespective of how old or how young you are here are 7 steps why following instructions are hard:
1. They don’t make any sense
2. They are in another language or
3. They are in the wrong order
4. You don’t understand them or
6. You don’t pay attention in class or listen to your lecturer or
7. Your lecturer does not make sense to you.

I personally find it difficult to follow instructions that are not universally applied. I want to know why I must do something, I want to understand the terms and conditions, the limitations of the instruction, but primarily I need to know WHY.
