Consider this quote:
"if you chase two rabbits, you will lose them both." It is an old
Native American saying that seems to be ignored by today's society. "Stay
focused on one thing, trying to get everything will get you nothing."
Hopefully, each person
reading this blog has at least one or two or three goals for themselves. Goals
(or aims or objectives) are almost like a roadmap that leads us to our
destination (the goal). It’s good to chase after and work at achieving your
goals, but chances are your success rate will be much higher if you focus on
achieving one goal at a time, rather than chasing after many all at once.
It means you should focus on
one thing at a time. If you go hunting, you can't hunt two rabbits at the same
time. They will run in different directions and distract you from each other.
In fact, some animals do this purposely. If you hunt only one rabbit, you have
a far greater chance of catching it. Similarly, if you focus on one task at a
time, you will complete it faster and better. If you think you can pull off
working on three things at once, you're wrong, even if you've done it before.
If you focus on one at a time, you'll do better on each job.
I’ve often found myself
chasing two (or more) rabbits at the same time. I found this to be very true.
For me, life is more about the journey and reaching the end goal is just the
bonus.

very well said my friend, trying to do everything at the same time is like doing nothing at all because, along the line you are bound to lose focus, fall out and you will not achieve anything at the end of the day.
